• Pastor Lohrmann is a graduate of Wartburg Seminary and Valparaiso University.  He especially enjoys studying the Lutheran Reformation.  His favorite quotation about connecting the Christian faith with daily life is ”Tradition is the living faith of the dead; traditionalism is the dead faith of the living” (J. Pelikan).   Among his many hobbies are reading, traveling, playing guitar, and watching ”The Simpsons.”

Cantor - Linda Furia

Linda Furia is a graduate of Rutgers the State University of New Jersey.  She has also attended Westminster Choir College and The Lutheran Seminary at Philadelphia.  In addition to her music ministry at Christ Ascension she teaches piano privately and at a Philadelphia music school.  Linda enjoys many types of music, from Renaissance to rock.  She is dedicated to helping people develop and share their creative gifts in worship, performance, and community theater.
